This page explains what data the OpenNCCM community (forum and support at comunidad.opennccm.com) keeps, why, and who it is shared with. OpenNCCM, the software, runs on your own server and does not send your configurations here.
What we keep
- Your account: public username, email, hashed password (never in plain text), language and, if you turn it on, two-step verification. If you sign in with GitHub or Google, we keep that account's identifier and verified email.
- What you post in the forum: topics, replies and likes. They are public.
- Your support tickets: messages and attachments. Only your team and the OpenNCCM team can see them.
- Billing details you enter (company name, tax ID, country, email) and your payment history. Your card or account details are handled by PayPal; we never see them.
- Security logs: sign-ins, account changes and the IP address they came from, to protect your account.
Cookies
We only use technical cookies: the session (to know you are signed in), language, and a one-time cookie to show notices. The light or dark theme is stored in your browser. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Who we share data with
- Cloudflare hosts the site, the database and attachments.
- PayPal processes payments.
- Brevo sends email (confirmations, reply notices).
- GitHub and Google, only if you choose to sign in with them.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long
Account data is kept while the account exists. Billing records are kept as long as the law of the Dominican Republic requires for accounting and tax records.
Your rights
You can see and change your data in Profile and security. To request a copy or delete your account, email soporte@opennccm.com.
Controller
